"Some-bunny loves you" mixed media layout

Hey all,

Back to show you some more Easter crafting. Or I thought it would be approppiate to use this bunny picture of Connor and me, regarding Easter ;)
This layout is on the Canvas Corp Brands blog now, HERE. In their post you will find some step by step pics!

I'm no fan of the Snapchat pictures usually, but my brother did this one of Connor and me and I kinda loved it. Connor loved it too, he said we looked so sweet.
To enhance the spring feeling I used fresh and vibrant colors of Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist, and a mosaic flower pattern as backgound. I'll show you the rest on the CCB Blog...

You can find me on Facebook and Instagram, too.

HAPPY SCRAPPING!

Words & Paintery April Challenge

Hey everyone,

The time for the Words & Paintery April Challenge has come! You can find it HERE.
As usual you will have until the 15th to play along, so the deadline is May 15.

This was a hard one for me. Lately I haven't been inspired to use pinks AT ALL.
As it always goes, you think you'll have time, but then the deadline neared and we were away for Barcelone, leaving me only a couple of hours to create something. And I'm a slow scrapper...

I made something then though. But I didn't like how it turned out at all. And there was no salvaging. It was a pink disaster I tell you. People even asked if Connor made it. All the chipboard shapes were unrecognizable, even the sewing machine that looked like it had been set on fire due to an experiment with some new black Inklings...
Soooo I gave the pinks another shot Friday afternoon and was happy about the result. I used my recent inspiration from Barcelone. Mosaic patterns, a church window, Mary and Jesus.
(Which made sense too, now Easter is here...)
Yes, this project is okay to me.
Judge for yourself and if you have any questions about how I made it, don't hesitate to ask. (Didn't do step by step pics this time, sorry...)

You can find me on Facebook and Instagram, too.

HAPPY SCRAPPING, don't forget to join our challenge!

Weathered Copper Egg

Hi everyone,
Yes, Easter is almost near...
Will you be doing anything special? We are going to do some Family visits and hopefully get some extra sleep.

Last weekend we went on a City Trip to beautiful Barcelone, Spain. This trip was a gift from my work, because of our company's 25 year anniversary. In a way I was looking forward to it, but in another way not at all. It meant Connor (our son) would have to sleep over at my dad's for 4 nights, you see...
In retrospective, all went very well and we didn't miss him as much as we thought we would. We called every day, and he let us reassure the number of nights he still had to stay at grandpa's before we would pick him up again. When the trip back home had begun, I couldnt wait to hold him again. After a good night's sleep, of course.
Barcelone is a beautiful city with treasures like churches and beautiful buildings lurking around every corner. I regret not being able to visit Sagrada Familia. For me, the most unexpected beautiful part of the trip was Park Guell. I pictured it wrong, somehow. Like a bench with mosaic and...? To my surprise the park was rather large and filled with lustrous green and felt so serene and peaceful. And Gaudi's work? Wow. The way that man's mind works, has left me puzzling and wondering and in awe, ready to discover more.
I'm filled and inspired and maybe you'll see a project influenced by him, or using one of the pictures I took, or cards I bought, in the near future.

For now, back to EASTER.
Upcycled an old flower pot with paper flowers and foliage, using the Tattered Angels Naturally Aged Paint Kit 'Weathered Copper' and Tattered Angels High Impact Paint 'Copper'.

Want to see how I did it and what exactly I used? Check out the CCB Blog, HERE.

HAPPY EASTER & HAPPY SCRAPPING!
